About the Organisers:

  • The Emirates Osteopathic Society (EOS) under the Emirates Medical Association successfully organised its first Emirates Osteopathic Conference on 17th and 18th February 2017 in Dubai. Since then and supported by its vision of developing the profession in the Middle East, the EOS developed strategic partnerships with Osteopathic International Alliance and the Foundation COME Collaboration. This culminated in the organisation of the 2018 joint conference.
  • The Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA) is the leading organisation for the advancement and unity of the global osteopathic profession. As an “organization of organizations,” the OIA unifies osteopathic medicine by connecting schools, regulatory bodies, and regional, national, and multi-country groups. Today the OIA represents 71 organizations from 20 countries on five continents. It is the primary international organization advocating for high-quality osteopathic healthcare and a leading representative of osteopathic clinicians and physicians worldwide. Every year, the OIA come together as a global community of osteopathic physicians and osteopaths to connect not only with each other, but also with a diverse group of speakers and resources in order to learn more about the state of osteopathic medicine and osteopathy around the world. The past three years, the OIA met in Canada, the United States, New Zealand, and this year the OIA meet in Dubai, UAE.
  • Foundation COME Collaboration (COME) is a non-profit research foundation looking to establish international and multidisciplinary partnerships to pursue grant funding, high quality research, clinical and health care support. The foundation includes not only the most established and active researchers in the osteopathic arena but also professionals from different medical and non-medical fields. COME believes that effective health care is based on multidisciplinary equal partnerships between providers, researchers, practitioners and patients. The COME Annual Meeting (Quantum Global) is a cutting edge, must-see and be-seen event for professionals who want to keep abreast of latest research, new technologies and fresh ideas. The meeting boasts a combination of exciting scientific programs, practical workshops and social events.
